Hello and welcome back to Jobilties. Today we will look at how to create a product listing.
First things first, click on the Create button located on the top navigation bar. Choose product ability from the pop up window.
When the product listing screen displays you will notice the Draft badge at the top.
We'll choose an image to associate with the listing. You can choose up to three at any time in certain formats.
Next, Enter in a title that tells the buyer what product you are selling. There is a 250 character limit on this field. Don't worry, the description field is where you can elaborate on your product!
The description field should explain the product your are selling in detail. There is a 2,500 character limit on this field. The more detail about your product, the better. After all, it is your creation that you are excited to share!
The description field can be expanded in visible size. If you grab the bottom right stripes that looks like an upside down triangle, the field can be made bigger in size.
Lets go ahead and move down to the category field. Please note, there is a 250 character maximum. The Job ilties developers are working on a real time character count so you can see the total characters entered into a field.
What word or words best describe your product? You can enter those in the category field.
Choose if the type of product is a physical product or digital download.
Let your buyers know if you have any fine print that they should know about. For example, we'll send you a file but not the program to run it.
There is a 1000 character limit on this field. The fine print field can be expanded in visible size. If you grab the bottom right stripes that looks like an upside down triangle, the field can be made bigger in size.
While waiting for the fine print part of the demo to finish up, What options does your product have available? Is your product available in different colors, sizes, finishes or file types? In this example we'll show you how to create labels and options. The maximum amount of labels per product is three but you can have as many options as you need per label.
Enter a label in the new label field then enter an option to go along with that label. This will tell your buyer what to expect in the options drop down menu in your listing. Click the Add button to add the label and option to your draft listing.
You will have to navigate back down to the Product options section to continue with your listing. The Jobilties developers are working on a solution to keep you at the options section after adding a new label or option.
This video will continue to show how the labels and options section works and operates. We do apologize for the inconveience of having to scroll back down after adding a new label or option.
A second label is being added with an example option. ((⏱️=500))The Add label button will submit the label and option.
Labels and options that are entered can be removed. If you click on the remove label link, a confirmation window will pop up to make sure that you want to remove the label. Removing a label will remove all of the associated options.((⏱️=1000)) If you want to remove just one of the options, click on the trash can icon to the right of the option. A confirmation window will pop up to make sure that you want to remove the option.
Reminder that you can add up to 3 labels.
How much are you charging for your product? Enter a cost in the product price field, click outside of the box and you will see Job ilties fees load to the right and finally the total cost that a buyer will see.
Enter the maximum quantity that a buyer can buy at once. If left blank, the quantity will default to 500. The quantity field in the listing will default to 1 and the buyer will have to select how many they wish to purchase.
Will your product ship free or is shipping an extra fee? ((⏱️=1000)) Enter shipping costs of your product should it apply and if there is any charge to ship additional items.((⏱️=1000)) Once a cost is entered and you click outside of the field, a cost is generated that includes Job ilties fees.
Let your buyer know about the details of shipping the products. Enter shipping details like shipping speed and the type of shipping you will offer to the buyer.
Select if you accept returns and what the return policy details are for your product.
That's it. You made it through your product details form. Click the Publish button to submit or update the listing and the listing status should show Active.
If you still see the listing in Draft status, check each field for a notification that will be displayed in red text.
If you didn't want the listing to be active yet, click the Set Inactive button to inactivate the listing. You should see an inactive badge at the top of the listing. Feel free to return at any time to reactive the listing.
