Hello and welcome back to Jobilties. Today we will look at how to create a product listing.
So lets get started. Click on the Create button located on the top navigation bar. Choose service ability from the pop up window.
First we'll add an image. Click the browse button and find an image. The image will be temporarily stored.
Choose a category from the menu and then choose a sub category. Subcategories are based on the main category selection.
Enter a title based on the service you are providing.
In the next field you will enter a description about the service you are an expert in. Be as descriptive as possible about the service you are providing. This field does allow for 2,500 characters to be entered.
How much is the service that you are offering? The service can be determined based on a fixed cost or an hourly rate.((⏱️=400)) If choosing a fixed cost, a fee and total cost will appear. The fee is 10% of your cost and the total cost field is the cost field plus the 10% fee. If this service is offered at an hourly rate, the fee and total will be determined once you have spoken to the buyer to understand how long the service will take. ((⏱️=300))The fee on top of your cost will still be 10%.
Select a location based on where the work can be done.
Leadtime is based on how long the service will take. This is an estimate but be realistic.
Tell your buyers about your experience with this service. You could describe how long you have been providing this service and some of your customer testimonials. This field is 1,000 characters so while there is space to share, just list what is important.
In this last field, tell your buyers about the fine print of the service you are offering. Remember it is a service and may not always end up in a product. For this example, we are telling the buyer that a license or licenses for software that runs the spreadsheet is not included.
Now that all of the fields have been entered, click the Publish button to make your service active and available on Job ilties. Once your service passes all validations, you will see a message that the ability has been updated.
Notice there is clear category button by the category field. This will clear the category in case you happened to select the wrong choice.
By clicking clear category, the status of this listing was returned to draft.
Click publish again to set the status back to active.
The set inactive button will deactivate the listing and set the status to inactive.
By clicking the reactivate button, that will set the status back to draft.
To see the ability listed in your listings page, click the My Listings link on the left menu. This will display all listings that you have created.
Click on the three vertical dots icon to edit the listing again.
Search for your service in the search bar located on the navigation bar and hit enter. Locate your service and you're able to view the service that is active to all buyers.
